IT’S NOMINATION time for The Scottish Farmer equestrian supplier of the year award, which is presented at the Highland Show on Thursday, June 24.
Past winners include the Clyde Vet Group, Equisave horse ambulance and Eric Gillie horse transporters. It is open to anyone who you think provides an outstanding service to the equestrian community, from your local feed merchant, farrier, vet or even an ‘unsung hero’.
If you nominate online there is a chance to win a The SF branded hoodie, while postal entries will have a chance to win a Border Fine Art mug.
The judges for the event are panel of judges, including directors from the RHAS and The Scottish Farmer editor Alasdair Fletcher. For full details and an entry form see www.scottishhorse.co.uk

After a couple of recent visits to Musselburgh racecourse, I am of the view that it is a worthy contender for a racecourse of the year award.
