Tack stolen in West Lothian

A QUANTITY of tack – including several new saddles – was stolen in West Lothian last weekend.

The saddles are:

Black, Ideal, VSD, 17", wide fit. This saddle is in very good condition, but has imprints on the inside of the saddle flap made from the girth buckles. It also has a small dent in the seat.

Havana, 17", wide fit, Lovett and Rickets, GP. This saddle is in new condition as it has hardly been used. It has a gold coloured name plate on the back with no engraving. It also has a squared off cantle.

Black Barnsby, eventing (Mary King – not the version that is available just now as has normal shaped saddle flaps, however it does not say Mary King on it) 17 1/2", narrow fit. This saddle is a really unusual design and has a dimpled effect on the leather. Brand new condition. This was taken with a Barnsby saddle cover.

Black Jeffries, 17", GP. This is in good condition, but has a couple of light scrapes on it.

Farrington, 17", XW, WHP/showing, Havana. This is in as new condition.

GFS, 16", Hafflinger, black, excellent condition. This was taken with a black saddle cover with Saddle World written in gold on the back.

Wintec, GP, 17". Damaged girth straps.

Wintec, VSD, 17", black, diamanté stirrups. Very good condition. Slightly wrinkled underneath the pommel as the gullet has been changed several times.

Wintec, 17", tan, close contact, jumping saddle, with Cair, Crosby stirrup leathers, diamanté stirrups, as new condition (stirrup leathers are damaged as they are very thick and get stuck when trying to change the stirrup length)

Maxam, pony saddle, black, very good condition.

Thorowgood, pony club, 15"-16", black, does not have a changeable gullet (most of this type do) excellent condition.

Barnsby, thought to be 17", old condition.
