The organisers of Bramham International Horse Trials have announced that their nominated charity for this year’s event, June 3-6, is Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
A pioneering charity dedicated to the prevention, treatment and ultimate eradication of breast cancer, Breakthrough funds ground-breaking research, campaigns for better services and treatments and raises awareness of breast cancer throughout the UK.
Event director Nicholas Pritchard commented: “We wanted to support a charity which many of us can relate to and with nearly 46,000 women and around 300 men diagnosed with breast cancer annually in Britain, Breakthrough was an obvious choice. It’s something that has touched so many lives and we want to help them during the event to raise awareness of their valuable work as well as collecting money to help fund their research, campaigns and education. I hope all our visitors will get behind the charity and support them in any way possible during the event.”
Four full days of three international eventing competitions – senior CCI***, Bishop Burton College Under 25 CCI*** and CIC*** will take place, as well as a host of show jumping, showing, young stock and novelty classes. A shopper’s paradise of trade stands, full range of catering and family entertainments will also feature – making Bramham a not-to-be-missed extravaganza. Tickets start from just £10 for adults.
