The news was announced by an independent consumer group in the country and comes only two weeks after it was found beef burgers on sale in one UK supermarket contained up to 29% horsemeat and others small amounts.
It is believed that the contaminated meat that led to the UK scare had come from Poland.
The beef burgers were produced by ABP Food Group and it has welcomed the news that the meat had come from a "third party continental supplier" but it denied rumours that the company's Polish plant was responsible for the contaminated meat.
