Thomas Plaster and Amilie JR Z won the Squibb Demolition pony foxhunter held at Weston Lawns, Bulkington, West Midlands by almost two seconds from the only other combination in the final jump off.
As they had already qualified for Horse of the Year Show and the Festival, the first qualifying ticket went to second placed 15-year-old Emily Whiteside from Wisborough Green, West Sussex riding Wizard VIII. Emily and Wizard completed their third clear round in 37.69 seconds. Third place and the second HOYS ticket went to 14-year-old Harriet Rawson-Smith from Romsey, Hampshire riding Never Tell, a nine-year-old skewbald mare. Fourth place and the third HOYS ticket went to 15-year-old Lucy Wilson from Bramham, West Yorkshire riding Dalestown Cavalier, an 11-year-old bay gelding.
