Twenty-year-old Miles Browning from Cowbridge, South Wales riding New Priory Stud’s Em, a five-year-old, 16hh, chestnut mare won and took the first qualifying place for the KBIS Insurance British novice regional final at Bicton Arena.
Em, a British-bred mare by Hamilton, jumped three clear rounds the final one against the clock in 53.68 seconds to beat second placed Carethago Z II, ridden by 18-year-old Rebecca James from Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales who completed her third clear round in 69.30 seconds to take the second qualifying place.
Both the above combinations qualify to compete at the Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival at Stafford County Showground from August 29 to September 4, 2010.
