Out of form since a Doncaster fall last March, the gelding was gambled into 9-4 favourite before heading Stormin Exit by 14-lengths.
Jockey Aidan Coleman said: "He's a horse that likes to have his own way in front so I tried to be as aggressive as I could on him. We turned in clear and I knew he'd take some beating from then."
